~M. Scott Peck’s The Road Less Traveled~

Today, I’ve chosen an inspirational nonfiction, a book for the soul. One popular book that can go by this category was published in 1978 by M.Scott Peck, The Road Less Traveled.

Actually the complete title of this best-selling book which is a guide to spiritual growth and personal development is rather long: The Road Less Traveled: A New Psychology of Love, Traditional Values and Spiritual Growth. Peck is a known psychotherapist and a best-selling author who can speak right to hearts and minds.

In this spiritual guide, Peck examines how the four key components - discipline, love, religion, and grace - can create a balancing act in our  relationships, and in our lives, overall.

Foremost, we need to take responsibility for our choices. By being aware and sensitive to our everyday blessings, we grow as loving, well-developed and well-adjusted people, then we are able to cope with our everyday challenges.

The Road Less Traveled is honest and easily readable, like any good inspirational book.
